Harley MilanoSolicitor

Harley Milano is a Solicitor with Resolve Litigation Lawyers.  He was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in March 2020.

Harley studied law at the University of Sydney and the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He is fluent in French and German, and is an active member of the:

  • German-Australian-Pacific Lawyers Association (GAPLA/DAPJV);
  • French Australian Lawyers Society (FALS); and
  • Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA).

Harley has had a key role in several commercial disputes, including acting for clients in proceedings in the New South Wales courts at the Local, District and Supreme level, and the Federal Circuit Court.


Harley has represented clients in a range of commercial disputes, including:

  • acting for a defendant in the Federal Circuit Court in relation to a trade mark dispute and a contempt of court application;
  • acting for a major professional services firm in relation to debt recovery matters;
  • advising the sellers of a company regarding a claim for breach of warranties under a share sale and purchase agreement;
  • acting for an Australian feedlot company in relation to a commercial dispute; and
  • acting for a German professional services firm in New South Wales Supreme Court proceedings.

Harley has been involved in regulatory investigations involving the ACCC and ASIC, including:

  • advising a family business in relation to an ACCC investigation under section 154 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth); and
  • acting in connection with ASIC investigations, including providing advice on notices issued by the ASIC under section 19 of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth) and attending a section 19 examination.
